Anna Rodriguez

Mentor - Sapphire Class

Anna began her journey toward holistic education and sustainable farming over 25 years ago. In 1998, she studied at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute and worked at Stella Gardens Biodynamic CSA farm. This life-changing experience deepened her connection to nature and farming. Inspired to find a more holistic education for her son, Anna discovered Waldorf education and began working and training at Lifeways Childcare Center, a Waldorf-inspired daycare.

In the years that followed, Anna taught Handwork, Arts, and Spanish classes to K-12 students in Waldorf schools in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Texas. Anna has experience creating cooperative, intentional, and dynamic learning environments where all can be guided by curiosity and understanding. She values the ability of nature and art to guide our learning and to heal our souls. Anna holds a BA in Arts from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and is trained in restorative justice practices.

Anna was born and raised in a Spanish-speaking home in San Antonio, TX and loves the climate and culture of Central Texas. Anna is passionate about gardening, sewing, knitting, and connecting with community through art-making, cooking, playing music, and exploring outdoors.

Anna is honored to work at Whole Life Learning Center and to be a part of an inspiring dynamic learning community.
