Weekly Note - What You Need to Know

Soft Start “First Day” (Families Welcome)

When: Friday, August 21st | Drop in anytime between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM
Where: Jade Classroom
What: A relaxed afternoon to drop off supplies, pick cubbies, explore the classroom and connect with mentors and classmates.
Parent Involvement: Parents are strongly encouraged to stay and help your Jade integrate into the space. Feel free to stay for 20 minutes or the full two hours—whatever works best for your family!

Important Checklist & Preparation Tips

WLLC Handbook: Please take time to read through our WLLC Handbook (you can access this on the Parent Central Portal in the Resources section) and return the signed acknowledgment page as soon as possible.
Adjusting Routines: This week is a great time to start shifting sleep and wake-up schedules toward school hours.
Visual Countdowns: A physical countdown chart can give children a tangible way to process the transition.
